    Hi All,

I am flying over to Vegas on Sunday and will be there till the following Saturday after which time I will be staying in LA for a further 6 days.

I have got some great advice on how to fill my time from Ron and would love to know peoples favourite things to do to fill my days both in Vegas and LA.

    All the best,

    DPG

Billy gave several great tour guide posts in one of the Vegas threads. Covered all the hot spots and must sees.

One piece of advice. Make sure you cash in all your tickets from the slots payouts before you leave. Don't get back home and then find them.

If you want to break the monotony of gambling (or when you run out of money), go to Red Rock. Get a car, climb the rocks (or just hang out). What most people don't do, is drive into the canyon (the road loops) and see if you can spot the big horn sheep. Last time I was there they were almost on the road.

    Thanks Guys!

Great advice Ms. B! Ill definitely check out that bar NY Falcon and the Red Rock although we have no shortage of sheep here in New Zealand

Other things that I will be doing is staying at the Monte Carlo, chasing some Borgs around, heading out to area 51 in a hummer or a lambo, Blue Man Group Show, Cique De Ole (maybe, dont know too much about this). some sort of skydiving thing, checking out the stratosphere, Checking out the house of blues at the Mirage, The Hard rock hotel, the hoover dam, and maybe getting a "literal" massage (as in the massage massage not the wink wink massage).

Man you Americans have got it made! So much on your doorstep!

    Keep em coming

You can get a "literal" massage on the street. If I would have known that, I would have brought a chair and table with me and set up shop. I could have come home with a lot more money than I did.

Although it would have probably made me flash back to those days of w*rk.

    DPG -

Definately check out the "big shot" ride at the top of the strat. If you are into thrills, it's tops. More scary than sky-diving and bunjee diving. I've done it once, at night, drunk. Talk about scary man...

I live in So. Cal., and I definatly recommend Universal Studios/Disneyland/etc... if you have never been here that is. If you've hit those up before I wouldn't bother again..

    Hey Thanks Guys,

My car is turning up in about 15 minutes so I am off. I have printed out all these suggestions to read on the long plane ride.

Have a good couple of weeks and I will try to do the same.

    All the best,

    Dirk Gardner

I'll second that. One of my favorites after visiting during the "Friends of ABW" event in May. They have nice dealers.
