Football No more working on Sundays, only a quick stat check every now and then. Sorry to you Jets fans out there, you just lost Chad Pennington probably for the whole season, i lost my QB Michael Vick for a few weeks. Preseason = Stupid. Losing star players in games that don't even count Best time of the year, football, starts to get a little cooler, holidays, make lots of money

I've been telling myself for the past two years, that this is finally the season where I'll have everything done, and can sit down and enjoy a game without any distractions. One of these days I'll finish everything and will be able to watch games without having to look over my shoulder, with my hands still on my keyboard!

Yeah, I'm totally psyched too. There's just something about this time of year. Everyone has a chance ... except of course the Chargers, the Cardinals, the Seahawks, the Browns, the Bills, the ...

Then after football season comes basketball. Go Lakers!

The Seahawks may surprise you this year. They've got some strong players this year. Now, if they can just keep them healthy and uninjured...

Well the Detroit Lions better get some Hottie cheerleaders as their NFL team sucks like their MLB baseball team. Their season consists of trying to win the Turkey Day game.

    Mike & Charlie ...

If they won't adopt and feed a bird ..flip them one! BBQ some Gator and remember to flush WhenU..

Trust, what you need is a little boy, then you can watch him practice football all week, play football on Saturdays and watch the pros together on Sundays. Then you'll have football almost everyday!

Football pool sounds like fun, extra income is always good. I used to run one at my old job. My first one was at 10, dad was a club manager and they used to run them, was winning them back them

@kip: As a die-hard Browns fan, let me just say

Professionally, I'm rooting for the Eagles, as their win-loss record will have a direct impact on traffic to our Eagles channel!

Karl - I think the Browns will be good in a year or two. They are rebuilding right now. They did great in the draft but I think they are still a few years away.

Andy - yeah, your Dolphins do look really good this year. If everyone can stay healthy you guys can really rock. The addition of Junior in the secondary is going to make your defense really tough.

    Go team!

Andy, your team would have a chance if they use the "right" QB. They should go with Griese now and bench Fielder.

We have to take good care of him though...

quote:
Brian Griese was behind in his knowledge of the Dolphins offense when training camp opened, so he was trying to learn it on the run. But a toe-ligament injury that could keep him sidelined the next three games has slowed the backup quarterback to a tentative walk.

He got hurt in camp this week...

It is a good team though, we are reved up in Miami

Too bad about the Jets, looked like they had a promising season ahead. Now we'll just have to accomplish our secondary goal: playing spoiler by beating the dolphins yet again
