If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are home, call someone on your cell phone.

Hold your cell phone about afoot from your car door and have the other person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the phone on their end.

Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you.

Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other "remote" for your car, you can
unlock the doors (or the trunk!)

Wow, I would have never thought of that. Will have to test it before I really need it!

If it sounds questionable, always check Snopes to see if it's true or false.

Although I'm not always convinced by Snopes when it comes to things that are allegedly true, for example:

I don't know if it works or not, letter was sent to me in an email. I don't have a cell phone so I couldn't check it out. Maybe someone would like to give it a try and let us know if it works?
