I am pretty darn excited lately! My goal in Jan 2002 was to earn $10,000/month by Jan 2003 - June's total was just under $9000, and if my daily average stays what it is, July will be over $10,000!!!

now, I'm hopeful of having at least $50,000 for the down payment on a house by Jan!

Hubby is still in shock I think and just mumbles something about the freakin taxes we'll owe next year, as the checks roll in! LOL (this is the same person who a year ago mumbled about how dirty the house was and the time I was spending "Playing" on the puter...) Now he kids around about quitting his J O B.

I Love this racket!

For those still not earning what you'd like to.....take the advice I took over a year ago from leader and others..."a page a day and a new site a month" YOU CAN make really great money in affiliate marketing.

thanks to leader, jada, haiko, bassmaster, and all who've shared valuable info at cju and here at abw! blesses to everyone!

I have a nasty feeling my P45 (pink slip) is looming on the horizon. I still don't earn enough to live on (that's an understatement!!) but it's great to see that it CAN work.

I'm getting better. Still waiting for the X factor to kick in

That's great MissMarySunshine!
I've noticed from reading the archives that it's not unusual in this business to meet goals ahead of schedule. It's very encouraging to see that it is quite possible to achieve a high level of success in a relatively short time in this business.

Ms Mary,

That is so thrilling and just the thing i needed to hear today. I have been at this for a year and a half and have seen small successes. Earlier this year, I shut down everyhting I had and started over from scratch. I had made so many mistakes that it was better to dynamite and start over. I have four sites going now and after the first month in Google I am back rebuilding and tweaking pages. I lucked in to some good listings on some obscure keywords that get some traffic and am now working to maximize those rankings and traffic.

My site building skills have improved and my mouth is watering waiting and working for the new money to start flowing. Yes I too am waiting for the X factor to kick in as well.

Congratulations MsMarySunshine! That is awesome.

You better be careful, you are going to inspire people such as myself to work harder! I bought a php/mysql book yesterday so the world better watch out.

That is amazing... Keep up the good work.

P.S. - Not to rub it in but I made a whole $10.00 today and even less yesterday. How do you like those apples?

Great news!!! Congrats!!

I too am learning and have learned so much from everyone. Build a page a day is very good advice. (just loaded another today)

A year ago I had one little link up and was just hoping to meet any minimum. Now I am making around $1000 a month and it is steadily growing.

Don't get discouraged, it can be done! And this kind of news just proves it!! Thanks for all the encouragement!

Congratulations!

You're a bit ahead of me. I got a deposit for slightly under $7000 back in February (darn reversal happened and kept it under the $7k!) and I figure that I will hit the $10K in November or December. I would hit it sooner but that would conflict with my other goal of All Summer Off!

So your hubby still hasn't started to pull up roots at the J.*.B. I wonder how long it'll be before he stops kidding and starts quitting!

If anyone would like to impart any advice on how to increase my sales I am currently accepting PMs. I have actually started to backslide in the past 2 months. Between a slow summertime with people outside and poor merchants who either don't update sales, don't track or don't pay... I just have to keep pecking away at these pages and trying to find new ways to advertise I guess.

I agree this is the best game in town!
Going to be interesting to see how long before hubby decides to chuck his j*b.

Mine has and loves telling everyone he's a kept man.
Given up trying to teach him the "how to's" on the web so I've put him to work around the house cleaning, ironing, washing.

He's even discovered the delights of
cooking lol!

Wow, I hope we all progress at the same levels, hehe, this time last year I was happy to make 50 bucks a month, now I'm happy to make 50 bucks a day, I guess 50 bucks an hour is next.

I just love posts like this. Keeps us all from just packing it in when things are tough.
My goals are also happening slowly. Started last October with the first site (well me wife did it as she was unemployed and I was teaching at a school in Madrid). Anyway, my boss got wind of the fact that my house was up for sale and I got the sack at Christmas. Moved to Tenerife (where my wife is from) when we sold our Madrid home as we have a house there.
Now, my wife is working and I am doing this full time since April when we had ADSL installed.

In January/Feb/March we made about $50 I think. That increased slowly until June when we made over $300. So far, the first 5 days of July, its $115.

I am currently trying to write about 10 pages per day. Anxious to see where the pages end up in Google in a couple of months. I just hope I can keep up the momentum as 10 pages a day is killing my brain.

Inspiration like your stories keep me going. I want my wife to pack her job in as soon as possible - workers in Tenerife (& Spain in general) and especially women, get treated so badly, most people would not believe it. That is my main driving force. She works at a job she hates, while I try to make affiliate marketing work so that we can both do this full time.

Thanks Mary

Great news of the day! Congrats!!! Late last year Jada started a thread about affiliate goal, I really didn't have much to think about at that time, now I have mine set for short term and long term. I'm no longer skeptical about this business simply because it does work.

Marysunshine - Congratulations - You GO GIRL!!! I am so happy for you!!

I surpassed my "would settle for" goal of $16,000 a month last month and am about $1,500 shy of my monthly goal of $20K per month by December 2002.

I hope everyone else is doing swell too. Damn, you gotta love this job.

Everybody keep chuggin along. And keep ya head up!!! It'll come.
