Hard to believe she is a senior and next year at this time she will be away at Carleton College...a whole hour away from home..

I am really proud of her, straight A student, never game me a problem in the world.
All parents should be so lucky.

    What a pretty girl!

I have 4 years to go before my daughter will be graduated and on her way to bigger and better things.

I look forward to it, but at the same time I don't.

Connie Berg, everything will be all right.. Your daughter is beautiful :0). Just think of what she may be able to contribute to for her desired career, I graduated from High school about 4 years ago, I don't even see my parents that much maybe less then 3 times a year. But we keep in contact by email quite a bit. Hey hope her school is teaching her about business :0). Cause schooling for me was a waste of time, I already new everything they taught me, I learned more in this industry (affiliate marketing, business) more then I did in school... Everything will be all right. If you can try to get her to sign up for business classes, as I wish I did that when I was in High school. Of course that's different then college Good luck Connie. you will get though this okay, will take some time though.

My daughter has no interest in business, and especially not in affiliate marketing. Probably a good thing...
She is looking to major in english, maybe be a teacher but I have a feeling whe will end up a political science major or in law. She tends to pick causes and stands her ground on them.
I could see her being a lawyer for people who need one but can't afford it, working in social services or or being a politician.

I do miss the days when I could still help her with her homework. All this calculus and physics right now has me completely lost..

Beauty, brains and convictions. I think you should clone her!

Congrats, Connie. Having a child like this is a testament to the efforts of you and your family. I've worked with teenagers long enough to know it's not a fluke or luck.

Eyes and lips from mom, for sure, but hair? From dad?

The mailman was blonde...No actually my grandpa was blonde. I used to look good too until this affiliate marketing thing. Now stress and sitting at my computer 18 or more hours a day have takent their toll.
She got her brains from me of course.

You know, I would rather sit 18 hours in front of my own computer than spend one minute at a work place where a boss is watching my every move.

Congrats! Be prepare to let go a little bit. College is the time for kids to find themselves.

    Glory be! What a beauty!

Have her practice saying this over and over again. "I don't like that. Please, stop!" Such a lovely young woman will need all the help and practice she can get!

Beauties like that are such a joy and such a concern. I know. She looks a lot like my granddaughter.
