I read all the datafeed posts and you are all very helpful. I have a few questions.
I am on a hosting server with php but no database access such as mysql or anything. Can I utilize the PHP to read from a tab delimted text file orsomething?
do we add our own tracking code to the datafeeds or must we download the datafeeds from the programs such as cj/linkshare?
They cost money? I thought only the merchants pay for that.

get a new hosting company... one that offers php and mysql... access you will also need SSH access... if you want to run any of the datafeed scripts talked about here on ABW
cost around $5 per month... do a search on google
And, that's the bottom line because it's my2cents!

I agree with my2cents. As for your other questions, are you asking who pays for the feed?
I believe CJ and Linkshare both charge the publisher (thats you) for the feeds. I think they're both a one time charge but someone else can chime in. I've been getting CJ's feed for awhile and got in before the fee started. Tracking occurs based on urls that are provided in the feed.
You can't depend on your eyes when your imagination is out of focus.
