    Question eXeem new possible threat
From the torrent community, comes a new application launched yesterday called eXeem. This is a new Bit Torrent client (in beta release), that has at the very least adware (cydoor) budled with it. What else it may have in its final release, only time (and Ms. B) will tell.

Its creator claims it is a cross between Bit Torrent and Kazaa !

For those of you that use a torrent client, may I suggest www.bittornado.com

eXeem is something to watch for anyway.

Their aught to be a no wiggle room law at the networks that immediately suspends any affiliate, who gets their BHO or site tagged by the Anti-Adware/Spyware programs....period. Make them beg and prove their crapware won't harm shoppers systems or contains hidden bundles.

They're bundling cydoor. Everything that we all know about cydoor holds equally true about eXeem. There's probably little need for extensive testing of eXeem specifically. Of course cydoor has plenty of problems of its own...

Any legit passing of documents, pictures, engineering drawings can simply be done via FTP with a private username/password on a hosting site. Heck you can use a .pdf file format with quick pre-view and save. This is P2P copywrite theftware pure and simple as even the Whois shows they operate out of some Caribbean no-law payola hell hole.

Since they seem to making a bit of a media push with the release and you can see different behaviors at times with Cydoor depending on what applications it is bundled or integrated with, it does bear checking out and keeping an eye on.

Thanks for the heads up Fred!
