    Frontpage problem
    I keep getting these characters inserted into my wm tags

    %5bWM-FIELD:%20BUYURL%5d

    which obviously becomes an error when wm runs, other than suggesting not using frontpage, can anyone tell how to stop this happening.

    when I edit it back to

    [WM-FIELD: BUYURL]

    it just goes back to the same problem again

    thanks

    So, you are using Frontpage?

    Have you tried going into Page Options | HTML Source and making sure that the 'Preserve existing HTML' button is pressed?

    I have FP2002, its the fourth button on the top menu in Page Options. Though not sure if FP2003 has a same layout.

    It looks like they have changed the layout, I can't find the tab you mentioned, but thanks for replying anyway

    Yes, mine is FP2002 as well. I'll see if I can find anything similar for FP2003...

    it looks like frontpage does not like any of the following when they are in a hyperlink:

    ( )
    [ ]
    { }

    if I use any of these I get the weird characters added

    I'm puzzled

    Try this: Insert, Web Component, Advanced Controls, HTML

    This will create your HTML and not check it for correctness.

    Try this:

    <p><b>Buy </b><!--webbot bot="HTMLMarkup" startspan --><a href="[WM-Field: BUYURL raw]">Click Here To Buy</a><!--webbot bot="HTMLMarkup" endspan --></p>

    That's one one way I do it with FP.
