    Javascript Menus
I need a new javascript or DHTML menu that will not trip off the new anti-Active X script installed in I.E 6. Nothing more frustrating then building a great menu and having it not show up because I. E. 6 is so badly built. Firefox Rocks!!!!!!

    Luke,
There's one at dynamic drive http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/jimmenu/
that's supposedd to be compatible with:
    -IE 4+ Windows
    -NS6+ Windows
    -IE 5+ Mac
    -Mozilla 1.3+
    -Safari New in v5.7
    -Opera 7 New in v5.7
    -NS4

I haven't installed it yet, but plan to on my next site. If you try it, let us know how it went.

    Later,
    Rick K.

You're welcome. Try to avoid JavaScript if you want your links indexed by Google.

    Thanks Rick K.

I've used the DynamicDrive menu in the past. I'll try the new version and see if it loads faster now.

Talking Active -X blocks in I.E.
    Luke,
I had set up external javascripts called for in the HEAD of my website.

When I went to view my site on my local machine, It would pop-up the "Dangerous script yadda-yadda active-x warning" message.

Internal on-page javascripts wouldn't trigger this message.

I asked around, and found that this was a local machine function, that if you tested your scripts on your machine, SP2 viewed it as being harmful, and would trigger the pop-up.

However, when hosted on a remote server, the extenal js functions worked just fine.
