January 28th, 2005, 05:34 PM #1...Compatability Question...
Hi to All,
I have a quick question regarding the use of ClickBank and Shareasale together. I was setting up my merchant sales pages to use ClickBank because of it's low initial cost, ease of setup and large affiliate network.
I was hoping to join other, more costly -- but beneficial -- services later after some initial success. I see alot of positive comments about Shareasale...low cost...well run...great affiliates, and now I would like to join.
My question is about using the same sales page versus some other arrangement. It seems like it would work without the risk of paying commissions to both by accident, by I would like to know what you think.
Is it a non-issue or are their potiential problems when using both?
All the Best,

I use ClickBank and ShareaSale together - you can see how this works over at my site www.e-booked.com. My affiliate program can be found under "New Products" over at SAS.
The only thing is, Clickbank's expensive, and you need to do your sums. Clickbank take a huge cut (around 11%), then you must add your affiliate commission (this is a % of the original amount, not the amount you get from clickbank) and shareasale's cut (maybe 20% of affiliate payment). Bear it in mind.
I haven't had too many problems, although I haven't had to issue a refund yet. Hope that helps.
