Glad I'm not signed up with *that!*

If I was, I'd be too busy ripping links to post. What blighted rot!

It seems to work for me?

I generally have very few sales with them every month, and maybe the problems you are having are related to my lack of sales.

I pulled their links on 6/23/04 - when they sent an email telling us we weren't allowed to mention their name, but I never officially dropped them, assuming they'd come to their senses...

They'll be dropped by the time my head hits the pillow!

Mental note to self: copy part of this post to the LiveHelp post to add another merchant to list

(just testing to see if I can drag and drop a smile - I can!!)

ooh, ooh! are they on ebates?? I'll check the list. I can send my first parasite letter!

I guess that would explain 5400 clicks and 27 sales, complete site revision I noticed but I thought my tracking was still working until I realized the click to sale ratio. CJ basically told me my site was the problem - OK - that really sent me off the deep end, I sent 5400 clicks in a month to pacsun, how could my site be the problem!!

Interesting stuff. I just tested my link, and got the following message when I tried to add something to the cart:

"This page contains both secure and nonsecure items. Do you want to display the nonsecure items?"

No wonder I never have any sales from them!

They probably ran and fixed it the second Haiko's post showed up.

They are still messed up. I pretended I was making a purchase and EVERY screen up through the submit billing address screen gave a This page contains both secure and non-secure items message. EVERY single one of them. I wouldn't give them my credit card information with all those warnings. Off to take down some links ....

Seems to be working okay re the secure/unsecure stuff on Opera and Firefox. I had the secure/unsecure problem with a website I was building for a merchant - turned out to be some of the Amaz*n ads they were serving up on all pages. Was just a 'simple' matter of removing offsite graphics from the secure pages. And that was for a small mom and pop store; this definitely shouldn't be happening on a major retailer's site.

The source of the secure images are http://iserv.pacsun.com:8080, that is what the source of warning is Amazing that they can't change it to https:// even after being notified of it.

But the issue with the cart was entirely different ... had added a few items to the cart, and then wanted to show them to me for me to ok and purchase for her birthday. Everyday she kept going back and got nothing when she clicked on the shopping bag link ... this was 10 days of in separability.

Then, the added kicker was the Live helper.

in the original post, the Live Helper was quoted as saying the affil wouldn't get the credit. I wonder, if the Helper was asked, if the Helper would admit to expecting the credit.
