Question No Sales? What to look for ...
In the month of January I had a large amount of click-throughs for my Link Share merchants. Some already discussed here on the board (target). All other programs are moving along steadily.

For a Newbie...what do I look for/ how do I know if my sales are being stolen? Resource suggestion?

    thanks

There's no stupid question, just stupid answers.
Who knows for sure how much of our sales are being stolen, nobody. (It's not getting better, unfortunately) It depends of your business model, your partnerships, your verticals. The best way to know you're not being robbed is to work with reliable merchants, there's a few here, or to sign up with networks that don't allow parasites. Look at Shareasale.
LinkShare is the worst network to start with. It can take you years before to find the right merchants. You have found the best resource, it's ABW.

You could try doing small test purchases via your pages, if the merchants allow that.

If they don't, have a friend do it on his/her computer.

I am just starting with Target, also. I've gotten a few sales finally but I notice that while other merchants convert from 5 to 8% of the click-through business I send, so far Target is running 1 to 2%
