    LOL....

that is something, you'd think WhenU/SaveNow would be a little more loyal to those allowing them to make money from their programs instead of booting them for TOS violations!

the parasites don't care where or how they steal the money

Poetic justice in action. It's like inviting a stranger into your bedroom to share your girlfriend ..and the ingrate always wants FIRSTS. Basically biting the hand that feeds you and promoting your competitors at the same time. Is this what Lex had in mind when he coined "encontext"??

Awww... Not that they'll go on record saying anything about it, but I wouldn't think they'd be happy about that!

BTW, Mr. Spock, I thought David Elam's the tracking guy...

Of course, if we send a potential customer to CJ and they see that pop-up link we won't get paid. Guess it is time to take my link to them down.

    Didn't earn much anyhow.....

I just went to see how much I actually did earn from them. Here is a copy of a note I am sending them.

"What have I earned from your link this year?

Your report says $.45 which is not possible since your payment for a lead is $2.00! According to your records, I have sent 1,735 hits from 350,467 impressions. $.45 for the entire year on a program that pays a minimum of $2.00 is rediculous. I know there have in fact been transactions, one recently. Please, fix your reporting."

Tell me their tracking isn't screwy.

This crap is really starting to make independent and private deals look real good. Sure the aggregate check is nice but if even the network allows you to be stolen from then what good are they. 2002 just may see a lot less CJ on my site.

    Ssanf--That's NOT screwy reporting!

You said the 45c was from their yearly figures. They used to pay a nickel a CLICK. I think they changed their own program in Jan or Feb (before the death of all PPC). So that 45c would be for 9 clicks from before they changed it...

    Quiet--LOL!

Nope, I had some $2.00 ones in there. I remember them and I don't think htis is a senior moment. In fact, I am sure it isn't.

    ALL,

    The pop up is gone!

I guess Lex did something about it ... I did tell Todd about the pop up on the 12th in an email. I wonder how many advertisers signed up.

At least Whenu and Gator don't even try to popup BeFree, CJ or Linkshare affiliate recruitment ads. They don't report or convert worth a hoot! Ironic if a BeFree Ad overlaid or POPed UP to all visitors of CJ.com. Seems like the networks only want to support hawking competitors to their merchants with scumware programs.
