Newbie affiliate publisher here. I've been reading through the forums and I'm interested in creating sites using datafeeds. I've played around with Webmerge and am really impressed with the utility. However, I'm concerned about the Norton blocking of ads and was wondering if using a tool (such as Affliate Link Cloaker) would violate any affiliate agreement or screw up the credit to my account. I would assume that all images would have to be hosted on my server as well?

What are other people doing as a work around? Does anyone have an automated tool that accomodates this?

I used webmerge with one datafeed here but I use a small script (you can find in this forum) to cloack the link.
    Finaly I got something like:
product.php?style=1&id1=number2&id2=number2 in place of the buy url. number1 and number2 are different for each product

You're on the right track with cl*aking, and it's pretty easy to integrate with WebMerge, PHP or anything.

I don't need a brownie point (although it's nice), but Sandra does have a nifty solution.

PS: WebMerge is on sale at my site for another week.

You can also use this free script, pretty easy to automate it since it is a black box accepting whatever you want to send it.
