Being the weekend has nothing to do with it.
We are experiencing some hardware problems on a database server which is affecting login. I will post an update when it is resolved or worked around, which should be shortly.

    Thanks.

We have an initial diagnosis and people are working on it.
I'll post again when it's resolved.
    Thanks.

    Danix,

Can't LS put up a notice on the homepage?! I would encourage you to do so---not all affiliates browse through this forum as often as some of us...

    Thanks,

Sorry for the delayed update - the problem has been corrected and everything should be back to normal at this time.

danix- Sorry for the delayed update
It's fine, don't you know we waited for years on other stuff.

We know about technical problems. It's hard to avoid. At least it's great to be sure somebody is informed and working on it.
Glad to see you here, Dan.

    Problems still
Danix, I'm still seeing problems. When I run the totals for Feb 1-19, it's higher than when I run the totals for each day and add them up in a spreadsheet. This in itself isn't really abnormal because I've noticed that the total gets posted first and the individual transactions show up later in the morning or at least by early afternoon. They haven't shown up.

Additionally, I'm only showing impressions and clicks for two merchants and none of my many other ones for Feb 19. I always have seen the impressions and clicks for a previous day even if there were no sales. Something is still wrong.

Edited: I take that back...on the 19th I show two merchants with zero impressions and clicks but they have sales. No other merchant shows at all.

I have to agree with diamich. I always see clicks update early in the morning, but I see nothing for the 19th. This is very odd because even when I don't see transactions, I always see clicks. My revenue report doesn't match my sales and activity report, it's one day behind.

None of my numbers show anything for any merchant between the period 2/19 - 2/20. No clicks, no impressions, no sales.

How am I supposed to know if my BHO...er...web site...is performing when the reports only update once in a while? :-(

I see one sale for the 19th and one for the 20th. No clicks for either day. Seems a little off to me, but at least one of those sales was substantial. I'm very disappointed with LinkShare lately. I can never know if the figures I'm seeing are trustworthy. Clark with Overstock said we'd see sales fill in a few holes from the beginning of the month and I saw no change.

The Overstock sales blackhole, since January, will take quite a few dumptruck loads to fill in the gaps.

Imagine a world where we could trust the reporting and tracking of the networks. Imagine a world where the merchant sales uploads worked every day, 7 days a week.

Imagine how much more time we'd have to develop new business and bring in more sales because we weren't always double-checking and wringing our hands and trying to find out what went wrong?

Data is such a core fundamental piece of this business. Why can't anyone get it right?

I'm seeing something strange now. I still have 0 clicks for the 19th, but my clicks doubled on the 20th. Seems they put all my clicks from the 19th into the 20th.

I have no idea who to contact at LS about this but hopefully Dan will pop in here and see it.

When I click on noncommissionable sales under reports, at the bottom of the report there is this menu:
    Goto : 1-20 21-40 41-45

Well, I can see 1-20 when the report comes up, I can click on 41-45 and view those, but whenever I click on 21-40, I get a screen with no report, not even the grey and green barred report box. Just the header shows up, nothing else.

Soooo, I have no way of know what happened to about 20 of my non commissionable sales.

    Anyone else seeing this?

Dan, if you need more info, please PM me.
