    Talking Eureka!!!!
Ever since Alex found out that the PC can play his VCDs and DVDs he gives me about 5 minutes of peace before opening up the tray and loading up a film and saying "Daddy watch here!"... okay commanding not saying.... of course this does kind of cramp my work...but today...at long last....and only several years of using a PC I AT LAST found how to run Windows Media Player Skins as an "always on top" application

All i need now is to see if I can run two movies at the same time through the 2 CD drives on seperate sounds cards and earphones then I can have a kid on each knee and still work!!! Production Boost or what

Of course you all wonder why the kids don't just watch the films on the Tv right.... yea me too

    Cheers

Didn't you know Chris? TV's are too old school for kids these days.
    So last century, duuuhhhh.

I have 2 little ones that do this to me every day also!! I dont have the movie capability yet though!

They like the smiley icons when I'm posting on a board . And I downloaded a winnie the pooh screen saver kinda thing that can stay on top. Thats good for a few minutes LOL...

But nothing beats a parents lap I guess!

There is a t.v. and they watch sesame street and such.

    They'll be Teenagers soon enough

Chris, they're emulating your behavior! You sit in front of the PC all day and they want to do like their daddy does. I remember when I was little what a treat it was to go to my dad's office for the day. I felt like such a grownup when the secretaries let me sharpen s for them.

How about putting a monitor up next to yours and running the movie on to that, then they can have your lap and you can work?

Alex..some how broke my other monitor...not sure how yet, power is on, but the picture is gone....

and they want to do like their daddy does.
Awesome they can start work on Mondera right away then

They want to be close to Daddy.
Potentially, but I think it's because I'm easier to use than the remote

a kid on each knee WHILE you work.

Boy, you sound like a super human. A kid yakking away beside me while I try to work is distracting enough. Hats off to you and the moms and pops who can pull that off.

Gonna put the TV on a desk with a swivel chair and fake mouse in front of it.

I'm headed toward the two-kid lap myself. One's an infant, but my toddler likes being on the computer with me too. She prefers to watch the screensaver, which has all our digital photos on a random rotation.

Guess I'd better not let her find out the computer can play movies!
