    MSN Search Results
Just did a check on MSN's search results vs. Google and Yahoo. It appears that MSN's results are very similar to Google's and completely different from Yahoo's. It appears that MSN's new search is just Google jr.

By a matter of fact, for every page where I've a drop of traffic from Google, MSN stepped in. I'm getting the same high ranking with MSN for the same keywords I had with Google before the update. I just wish MSN will do something to increase their traffic.

They're running ads on tv maybe that will help. But Google has search engine links on millions of websites and toolbars the world over.

I positively love the new MSN search engine. It saved my bacon after the last few Google "updates". While I still get a good amount of traffic from Google I am finding it easier to optimize for MSN and Yahoo. It also seems like Yahoo and MSN traffic convert at similar or better levels then the big G.

MSN LOVES my site that doesn't have many affiliate links in it, and I can't even get that site on Google. My experience is actually that MSN more closely mirrors my Yahoo rankings...

I just looked over some of the MSN results and they're very much like the Google results of last year combined with the Yahoo results of right now. Google used to be great at ranking my very specific pages, but terrible at ranking my more general pages. Yahoo right now is ranking my very general pages, but not my specific pages. MSN is ranking both my specific and general pages. I just wish MSN search had more traffic.

At my content site MSN more closely mirrors my AltaVista, AllTheWeb and Yahoo rankings.

With Google I am buried under a ton of old sites and links that have not been updated for years with Google's link popularity nonsense.
