    How come that the post count isn't counting? can't remember where I saw it but someone has 507 posts four times.

    Wayder, If I'm not mistaken, you're refering to the Total Posts number at the bottom of each post.

    Basically, what happens is every time somebody posts a message, all the messages posted by that person have their total posts number updated in a file.

    When you view another post by that person, it appears to be the same post number because the all the posts by that person are getting their post number data from the same file.

    So really, it's not static at all, it just looks that way because ALL the posts by that person are updated.

    Thanks, I got the point. Now I know why the archives looked strange to me.
