    Angry Stay Away from AreaSmoke.com
I guess we capitalists are just too stupid!

    (Note: Not a SAS Merchant)

AreaSmoke.com is not to be trusted to pay! This is a duty free cigarette site, based in Moscow. I made purchases and found them to be not reported. After a series of letters they failed to explain how traffic from my site can be recorded but not sales. I made another purchase and again it was not recorded. Stay away from them. Even if some strange glitch in their system caused my sales to go unreported, they show no willingness to even explore the issue.

Moving to the Test purchase forum. Especially since they are not a SAS Merchant, so few will probably look for info on them in the SAS forum.

I would strongly advise against promoting overseas smoke shops.

Shipments that enter U.S. at JFK Airport get siezed. Your customer loses their money, and your reputation gets screwed.

BigDaddy and I have just added an affiliate who had been an offshore merchant that gave back $200,000 to their customers because of that JFK thing.

Not that I'm biased, but why mess with any cig program other than BDS?

Karl - The offshore folks are able to undercut prices both by being "duty-free" and by selling inferior millends that the tobacco companies unload on third-world countries.

The good news is that these places are dropping like flies and word of mouth about poor service and failure to deliver is traveling fast.
