    login trouble
I am checking to see if anybody else cannot login to LS today.
I think it may be that I have updated Mozilla FireFox and that changed something. I also ran Spybot Search and Destroy as well as SpywareBlaster.
Than shut down my machine and unpugged my DSL connection from my box, which resets my IP...But still I don't think any of that is the true cause my LS Aliment.

When I login I get this message back

You have been logged out for security reasons. To log back in again, please enter your Username and Password above. If you are using Internet Explorer 6 or higher, please be sure that your Security and Privacy settings are not blocking LinkShare's authentication cookies.

You can check your settings in the Tools menu under "Internet Options". Security and Privacy should be set to Medium or lower, and you should verify that cookies from linksynergy.com are not specifically blocked.

    I don't use IE...uuugggghhh.
Anybody have any suggestions or is LS just screwed up again?

    TIA

This is usually related to a cookie issue, it might be you're killing session cookies?

    Cheers

This may be unrelated, but I upgraded Firefox yesterday, and it reset my home page to Firefox's default. If they are changing that, they could have changed other things. I have no problem logging in with Firefox or IE though.

    Thanks for the feedback guys.

I have checked for my LS cookies in the tools section of FF and I have the same two that have always been there.

Chris-- Can you explain this "killing session cookies" and how I can stop killing my cookies

danix-- Yeah, they changed my homepage to the FF version of the Googles homepage. I had google set as my homepage, now it has lots of FF additions on the google homepage.

    Hi Brian

In your security settings in Fire Fox can you check if you have the Settings as follows :

    Go to

    Options : Privacy : Cookies

Then check that you have the drop down within that section set to "Until they Expire".

    That 'might' do it

    Cheers

    "Until they Expire"

    Yep that is set already.

Still can't log in and now I notice that when I try to run reports @ CJ it's fine until I try and check stats for a particular site...a new window opens up and ask me to log in again!!! In both IE and FF

Geez, and I thought the Mozilla update would be a good thing. That has been my browser for over a year and now trouble.

Anybody have any clue what the heck is happening.
This is getting to be a real pain.

    TIA

Ok I got it worked out.

If you do the update YOU MUST MAKE SURE NOT TO PUT IT IN THE SAME FOLDER AS FIREFOX 1.0

It really screws things up, all working now.
Here are the links to help others in need

    Link 1

    Link 2

Had to reinstall flash player but other than that looks good.

Thanks for you help Chris (and others)
