    FireFox 1.0.1 Update
    For those of you using FireFox 1.0 (and I hope you all are )

    When you install the new update 1.0.1 be sure to put it in a new folder otherwise you may run into trouble. The auto-update/download doesn't do it for you. I've been fussing with it all day until I got smart and looked at the Mozilla forums and found the trouble.

    you can read up on it for yourself

    Just a heads up,

    Thank you
    Cursal,

    Thank you for the info. I had given up on Firefox due to the problems with the update. Followed your advice and now everything is fine. Thanks again.

    I must have done something wrong. It upgraded everything on the first try. ;-}

    If you haven't checked out the plugins yet, you should do so. The 'Web Developer' plugin is a real dandy.

    I'm glad those of you with the install problem got it working. I messed with it for a whole "work" day and then got it to work by installing it in a new folder.

    For others that didn't have a problem with the new install, just read over the posted linka in the start of this thread if you have trouble later. Just do a fresh install using a new folder and all should be good.

    Note* I did have to reinstall my flash player and reset my default test browser in DreamWeaver ( guess they couldn't find the new path) other than that working fine. But I must admit, I'm not sure what additions were added in the update....

    Anybody want to chime in here about what 1.0.1 has added.

    Cheers
