I'm futzing with the CSS to make it "less blue".

It looks great Haiko. Specially the 'todays active topics' page.

But I was just getting used to feeling like a mushroom

I miss the borders as well.

I quite like it myself and I don't miss the borders one bit in fact I prefer it without borders there are far too many borders in this world.

Are we all sure we miss the borders or are we just used to seeing them?

I think sufficient border is provided by the left alignment of the text. The look is cleaner and less fussy.

Borders make it easier for tired old eyes to follow across the screen on the Daily Summary. The rest just looks too chaotic and disorganized without them; everything is just sort of Lost in Space. Can't tell where one thing begins and the other ends.

    Probably.

It looks really friendly and soft without the borders but it makes things look ungrouped and in some cases empty. I like the aqua color that you can see in the active topics page.

The background and border is F5F5F5 so white really would not show against that

Just some kind of border, even a light one. Not everyone's eyes behave as we would like and it makes it difficult to focus on the print without something to contain it.

The subtle lines are okay, as long as something is there - my eyes need the guidance.
