    2200 clicks , 2 sales!
Hello there nice people. I am very glad to be here.
Just a quickie. I have a few campaigns going on down at CJ. One in particular, moviedownload thingy, has received over 2200 clicks today so far. Now that has resulted in only 2 poxy sales. Can this be right? On the 28th march I supplied 546 clicks and that particular day yielded 13 sales but since then It has gone down hill rapidly. I have got the feeling I am being ripped off here. I have spent close to $350 bucks for a lousy $37 back. Am I being hi-jacked?
I am beginning to suspect something, do I pull out?
    Thanks everyone.

    "do I pull out?"

Yes. Sometimes i try campaigns and i go in thinking this should make me some money and it doesn't. Sometimes you stick with it longer than you should because you still have that feeling this should be working. But after giving it sufficient time and you're losing money, time to pull it. Right now you're out $313.

Okay thanks for that, why can the results differ so much though?
13 sales for a quarter of the amounts of clicks and then 2 sales for 2200 clicks?
I still have the feeling someone is gaining from my clicks, know what I mean?
I just want to know one way or another, the way I am feeling at the moment I could rip their ears off!

Perhaps it's one of those "reports are lagging a little behind" days - I was hoping it wasn't just me!

    I feel your pain Mike.

It's easy to be lulled into a sense that the program performed well in the past, and thus going to pick up again in the future. Way back in March 2004 when I started my CJ affiliate adventures I had a few sales via Netscape's ISP program from just a literal handful of clicks. Massive profit. Then nothing for the next six months. Just kept hanging on to it, until I ended up just about breaking even on the traffic I'd sent them. Just gotta know when to cut your losses sometimes...

maybe you should contact the merchant and ask if they have an in-house program or if they are part of another network.. cj has tracking issues..
