Since i think educating the merchants is the way to go, something we can actually do. Maybe under merchants corner, i don't know. Something simple and easy to understand. Give merchants info on how affiliating with parasites can actually cost them money. Like below. Some articles or info from threads trying to explain it clearly to them.
That merchants are paying commissions on:
    a) Purchases where a user went to their site directly.
    b) From bookmarks a user has made.
    c) From a user typing in a URL directly
    d) From as a result of search engine traffic

Nothing focuses the mind better than the constant sight of a competitor who wants to wipe you off the map.

I was going to suggest something like this.

I've seen a BUNCH of merchants who do a lot of really great things for affiliates, and I'd love to share them in a forum where merchants could look for tips about running their program.

    Excellent idea ...

Merchants Corner sounds like the right place for it. After all ... We have all had our experiences with Merchants who have little experience in running their programs.

    It's a really great idea!!

This seems to be a nice idea as i am planning on becoming a merchant myself in the near future.

I think that's a great idea. That way Merchants could get help from other merchants and communicate more! Totally suggest it!
