    qksrw.net hijacking?
Note the domain, it's not who you think it is.

I was doing my rounds of checking my casino affiliates and went to leave referspot.com to go to **********************. I type in www.********************** and for some reason caught a glimpse of my address bar. The sequence went:

    www.referspot.com => casino.qksrw.net/fortuneaff.htm => www.**********************

I went back and did it again and this time hit the Stop button on my browser before the redirect. I viewed the source and found the following:

    < html >
    < head >
    < script >
    window.location.replace('http://www.**********************/tagservlet/tagservlet?btag=ad_72419')
    < /script >
    < /head >
    < /html >

I've scanned my computer with MS' Antispy and AdAware. I've run a couple of searches through my registry. I've browsed through my local folders. Nothing has turned up.

I did a search on Google but the only thing that came up was the main URL and another page. If you check the other page (qksrw.net/etwright.htm) it actually redirects to etwright.com through a CJ affiliate link.

    http://www.google.com/search?q=%22qksrw.net%22

If it's on my computer, I don't know what or where it is. ********************** doesn't work for me, only with the www. The hyphenated domain (the one that's being promoted in the New Programs and Announcements forum) www.fortune-affiliates.com doesn't work either. I didn't know about that domain until the thread here, but it does belong to them.

    qksrw.net hijacking (the other thread)
Apparently even using the code tags didn't work.

Can someone edit the code out, I don't want to lose the whole post.

Well, if you can't edit it just delete it. I tried myself but I couldn't manage.

    window.location.replace('http://www.**********************/tagservlet/tagservlet?btag=ad_72419')

Where were you before you went to referspot?

There is javascript out there that hides a window and then waits a while before changing the target for a window.

Go back through your history and see if a previous page does something fishy.

That's a forced click to CJ (in the end) so you shoudl notify them to.

Just for the record, all the ********************** are f.o.r.t.u.n.e.af.f.i.l.i.a.t.e.s.com (why is that blocked?).

vB apparently doesn't understand that code inside the [ code ] tags should NOT be interpreted as code to parse. It was still trying to redirect even though I wrapped the HTML with vB code tags.

What I was noticing has disappeared anyway, it seems. I only visit a select few sites everyday. I was on one of my sites before I went to referspot. It's not a big deal to me since I'm already an affiliate, whatever it is is just trying to sneak an affiliate tag in. Just happened to catch it by chance.
