    I did it.... Wahooooooo!
    This is my official announcement.

I have quit my POS job. I am now, by trade, an internet marketing exec.
I'm making twice what I was making at my job.

Plz don't pm me asking me how to do it. It can't be summed up in an e-mail. It however can be summed up in this one sentence: Read and learn from this site as well as others out there where affiliates gather and share GOOD information.

I think I'd be too wiery to ever leave my job. I like consistancy . But great work! I envy you.

The last two Sundays (the only two) Since I've quit, I've had dreams where I feel a need to go to work. I kind of feel a guilt. I'm sure it is natural. We are always told that going to work is a fact of life. Responsible people get a job. I've been doing it for years and I'm now breaking that pattern. The mind resists it. I was weary but my job sucked so bad that I would have rather picked up aluminum cans than go back. Luckily, things are working out for me.

Congratulations Steve - the really big step is to not to have to answer to any-one and the freedom to follow your own ideas. Just remember to get away from the desk every now and then for a real-world perspective on life.

It's funny how we are programmed to believe that from a very early age isn't it? When I decided to do affiliate marketing full time, my Mother was so upset with me for throwing in my regular job (and geez I was almost 35 at the time). I didn't know if it was the right thing to do or whether it would work out, but I knew it felt right and that if I threw caution to the wind, I would either sink or swim... well swim I did and I have never looked back. I make a good 5 times the amount (at least) that I was making at my most well paid job, so I guess I did the right thing.

Go with your gut, work hard and always take the road less travelled. It's so much more fun than doing what others think we should... Good luck Steve.
