    Angry CJ Product Catalog stuck
I think the Product Catalog generator needs lubrication, or a swift kick. Can't make links for a while this afternoon.

I'll try it much later; gotta get supper going soon.

Want to get a page done and that was my best time, too. Oh, well . . .

    Angry problems are still there
    I can't work this way (

If I search for Product links for a specific merchant - it does not work
if I search for Product links for all the merchants - it does not work

    It drives me mad!

If CJ has plans to change this system, they are probably on a far back burner. I've been complaining about how non-intuitive the product search is when there are over 1000 products available for a merchant.

You'd think it would be possible to at least make a splash page to go along with a merchant where the key words for searches could appear. What we have to search on, normally, are any words that appear in the short product names.

It can take two, four, even six tries on similar words to attempt to find certain products.

Merchants who opt into special link generators "showcases" get more product display from me.

It's not the only thing that needs lubrication at CJ. Sales have been pathetic lately - worst it's ever been since I joined them 3 years ago!! As far as their product generator is concerned, I agree that it would be really nice if CJ merchants could provide some sort of showcase generator. I find it extremely tedious trying to create product pages around CJ merchants who do not have this type of utility.

Hey Todd - it still isn't working... when you search for a known product, it says "product not found."

Could you ask the techs to fix it while I am reading the boards?

    Thanks!

Same problem, today: if I click on any part of CJ it does well, but if I search for a product it stucks, for minutes, long long minutes. Then it works fine and then again... this agony...
Todd, I did not have this kind of problem prior you moved to the new location
Do you have less bandwith than before?

probably the neighbors are more affluent than before and are tying up the lines with streaming video all day.

Logging into CJ isn't too much fun either.

When I try to log in I have a book with me at the computer and sit and read while I waiting for CJ to log me in and finally get me to my home page.

Clicking through on a link is also very slow.

I'm guessing they're trying to fix whatever broke. So far today I only have one transaction that posted and it was a reversal. Somehow those always get through.

NOW THE PRODUCT LINKS GENERATOR WORKS AGAIN.

I felt I write a post only to complain so I got back and record this positive datum.
