    Affiliate Outreach
As an affiliate manager who uses CJ I have found it increasingly difficult to get in contact with my affiliates. Only about 20% of my affiliates are opted in to receiving emails. This was the main way I would contact affiliates to let them know of program updates when I was using another affiliate platform. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to best keep in contact with current affiliates?

Maybe a forum on ABestWeb.com and/or a content-rich affiliate area on your site?

Many affiliates don't want to be contacted.

Get the word out to other affiliates that host affiliate support web pages. For example, once you let me know the address, I'll put a link up on my Affiliates Unite! site.

It would be nice if there were two types of email we could opt-in for:

    1) Absolutely critical ones like "we are leaving CJ" or "commission level is changing", or "the T&C have changed".
    2) Ones that are only relevant to affiliates who love to change the way they promote the merchant twice a week, with new contests, new specials, then remove the link to that special because it isn't working now, try these keywords, hi, I'm the new affiliate manager....

I promote many hundreds of merchants, there is a large gap between what I consider to be important communications, and what the Affiliate Manager thinks is...

    OR... try a RSS feed!

Nothing like the "We Got Spam food feeds" for the affiliate SEM experts.
