    Question "Low Funds"
Hello I'm new here, exploring the world of datafeeds for my website.

I just opened an account with SAS and already applied for the Premier status.

This is my first post, so please bear with me.

I logged in SAS and check the status and the two programs I selected for datafeed have the words "low funds".

I couldn't find the answer in SAS FAQ, so that's why I'm posting here.

What exactly does "low funds" mean? That the merchant are low in funds to pay their affiliates, or that I'm supposed to fork over some money to get started?

    Thanks,
    JG

It means the merchant has low funds in the shareasale account they use to pay affiliates.

It also means that if you put out links for them and sell some stuff you will probably never be paid the commission that they owe you so don't even bother to join them or put out their links.

    BurgerBoy,

That is not what it means.

Low Funds is an indication to you that the merchant needs to further fund their account - however, commissions that are earned are always paid to you. We collect funds from merchants so that there is never a situation where you are not paid what is owed to you.

    Brian,

At what point do the Merchants get flagged with 'Low Funds'?

When they go below a $0 in their reserve? or $50? or some sort of percent?

    they set the figure themselves..
its best if the merchant is on auto deposit,
then shareasale tops them up when they get low,,,
so you dont have to care about a merchant getting out of funds...
    nice of shareasale aint it

oh i forgot to add,,, they do use the merchants money..
well they are nice guys,,,, but no one is that nice
