I'm pondering the landing page we presently aim to use for the data feeds.
Now JIS is a pay to use service, but I am concerned that landing a person direct on the payment page might be a little off putting?
I'm thinking of having a 'pre-sell' page added (just for the data feed) that gives more service details and then has a link to the above page.
Banners and other creative presently go to the home page.

I just had a look at your proposed landing page
and it looks fine to me. What really helps is that
there are clear links to topics to answer questions.
I frequent traffic exchanges a lot, and that is their
style -- go directly to the signup page with explanatory
links from there. So perhaps that is why I don't
find it offensive or too presumptuous.
But if a person were interested, and clicked on a link,
and landed there -- no -- I don't see why they
should fell offended.

Thanks for the feed back, we're also looking at seeing if we can do dynamic landing pages based on the job link they clicked, right now all data is stored behind the login, so we're looking at what we can do to show some of it on the main site, without giving away too much and hence loosing the sign up.
