We use Vonage and we love it. It's cheap and we've only had two short outages in several months - and one wasn't even their fault. The quality is just as good as a regular phone line. Not sure how the referral program works though. Sorry!

I am not aware of an affiliate program for them. I would like to know if there is one. VOIP will grow tremendously in coming years.
    money to be made there

Vonage is going down hill especially with their 911 problems and Cable companies offering the same service for half the price.

Was a vonage user for 2 years liked the service just wouldn't call 911 on it. Their refferal program sucks they like not to give credit and emails tend to go unanswered. I should of had 6 months free with them but got credit for 0 of my refferals.

VoIP service is in crying need of affiliate marketing, but they're still sorting out their own marketplace. I think they just don't know about or fully understand affiliate marketing. Next time I run into my acquaintance at Viper Networks I'll try a little proselytizing. Their current subscriber base is about 15,000 and growing rapidly, that should get the interest of an affiliate manager.

I have been using Vonage for a while and I have NO complaints about the service. I also promote them through MetaReward at $70 per new customer. Hope that answers both of your questions.

Anyone using vonage through a satillite based ISP. We have a lodge that uses GalaxyBroadband for the ISP and we want to get a VOIP system up and running. We are paying almost a buck a minute on our sat phone.

    Any comments?

I think HardwareGeek is right, satellite ISPs usually require you to have a modem and phone line for uploads and the satellite is only for downloads.
