    Question Thanks for the notice
    Hi InfoSeeker,

Just wondering how you can tell the last time it was updated? I'd like to know how to look for things like this. I'm always hearing (for as long as I've been doing this job) that EPC is stuck, has not been updated, tracking is off, and so on and so forth. But how can we tell for sure, and too, how can you tell the date it was last updated?

Any tips/hints/tricks you use for monitoring such things are appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

Just click on the "view trend" link that is right next to the EPC graphs.

    Thanks
Hi thanks - I know I can 'view trend' but how does that tell me that tracking is down, rather than that Affiliate sales are just off this week or whatever the time period is that you're looking at?

I hear a lot about tracking being broken all the time, and while I haven't written off the possibility that this is true at times, I wish there was a surefire way to be able to say "tracking is down" as opposed to "wow - Affiliate sales have dropped off the map today - I wonder why?"

When you view trend the dates are at the bottom of the graph. When the last date on the graph is april 22 and the current date is april 26 thats how you can tell.

I wonder if a better measure would be to determine the avg % of sales coming from affiliate traffic vs. all other sources, and if you see the avg drop significantly, you might want to check where the traffic is coming from and credit any deserving affiliates (if you can figure out where it came from.... might be impossible =)).

The traffic definitely appears to be registering as clicks aren't "wrong" for the most part, and do land the end user on the merchant's site. So, if you see that a sale was made via an affiliate link, but the sale itself doesn't post in CJ, then that's when it's time to worry.

I am sure it will update tonight. It was probably out of synch after the upgrade. I will double check though.

    View Trend
What page are you on when you see this "view trend" button? I'm not seeing it.

    Thanks,
