April 27th, 2005, 03:25 AM #1Question about BATCH Merchant
When Cooking.com moved from LS to CJ, many of us were disappointed with the low sales until all of a sudden on March 25 a bunch of Batch transactions posted. It happened again on April 8. We looked, and sure enough it says on their detail page that they are a BATCH merchant.
Now this is what I don't understand. If they are a BATCH merchant, why do I see regular live sales post from time to time? For instance, yesterday I had two sales post. Can I still expect more Batch transactions to show up in the near future?
Also, when the batch transactions do post, why are the click date and SID data missing?

I may be totally wrong here but my understanding is that the difference between a batch processed sale and a sale that shows up in your account for that day is..
The one that is in the "BATCH" was ordered with the normal delays of shipping and handling..
the ones that show up daily.. are ones that are upgraded to the fastest shipping..
Faster approval and the product is shipped faster.. so it is processed that day..
all others show up in the "BATCH"...
I COULD BE WRONG.. but that is the way it was explained to me...
Hope that helps!

Yes, it helps a lot. At least it makes some sort of sense as to why I'm seeing both.
