    I love Google
Well I been pushing buy.com on my site for the longest posting their weekly sales and I would get 0 to 2 sales a month. Well since the last Google Update I have gotten 3 sales with them. In 1 week which has never happened before.

actually just checked I made 4 sales for buy.com and 2 of them are for something i never even promoted nor does my site have anything to do with it.

I hope I sell a lot of that product its an $5.50 comission.

Congraulations! I love Google the most. Is Itunes with CJ? Do you recommend it to affiliates as a music download site?

I wish I could say the same. I haven't seen an increase in traffic from Google since around November. I've got my fingers crossed that all the changes I'm making will put me back in Google's good graces. Having a content site and dedicated audience is definitely a plus.

5c per download sounds pretty useless I prefer getting paid by lead for this kind of product. Thanks so much for the tip

How does Urchin work exactly - I presume that I would have to install their code on my Web site - right?

    Thanks

Quoting visitor stats is a double-edged sword:

I have one site that I work at, that I'm proud of, that makes me money, that consistenty gets 10.9% CTR - or 1 out of every 10 people that clicks make a sale.

I pat myself on the back and say your strategy worked! A targeted audience, going to a targeted page that I send to a targeted merchant paid off for all the effort. Great!

But I have another site that looks like a 2-year old put together that only gets 2.9%. BUT... Google loves it... and sends zillions of clicks to the merchant. And 2.9% of a ziliion is a lot of money!

So I tend to stay away from the site visitor logs... I look at the commission check to see if something works.

It's server side don't have to install any code just tracks all traffic to the domain. Here is an example of the output. (the below is a text output there is a web interface with cool graphs etc)
