May 3rd, 2005, 12:06 AM #1CJ's servers
I've read several references to CJ server issues. Some have said things like 'I'm on the wrong server'. And like 'the ones getting the sales are on a different server'.
Would some of you folks that know about these things shed some light for me?
How do you know if you are on the wrong server? //* no sales showing
How do you know what server you are on?
Do the cryptic URL names in the CJ links have something to do with it?
If you suspect (know) you are on the sh!tty server, is there any way to get off it?
What else about the servers should I know but don't because I'm ignert?

All their servers are sh!t as far as I can tell. But of course, according to CJ, "everything is normal and tracking is never affected".

As for the servers question, it has always been my understanding that "being on the wrong server" is a tongue-in-cheek joke to explain why CJ seems to lose track (er, ... posting) of sales.Rick M.

This is just another example of mis-information getting passed around. You are not on a specific server - they are all load balanced and each receives the same load (equally distrbuted across all servers). If a server has problems, it is taken out of the lead balancer.Todd Crawford

Gee, I need some "load balancers" for that extra weight I put on over the holidays so nobody would notice. LOL

What you are saying is that all of your servers are bad.

OK, I'm a bit fuzzy on this one, but it seems that every time we see an 'upgrade' or 'fix' at CJ, my earnings for the same amount of traffic plummet.
Can anybody here at ABW confirm for me that that last 'upgrade' was March 2005?
