Is it possible to find where a cj link is on your site?
Just wondering if it's possible to find out what page a certain cj link is on. I have some old links up and am trying to find them amongst the 1000's of pages, but wondered if there was a quicker way. Any help appreciated.
    Thanks

If you know any portion of the link, and have the pages on a PC, you could use the Windows search (Files or Folders) function and specify the search to look in the files.

For example, you could search all html files (ie: *.html), and place the portion of the link you know in the "A word or phrase in the file" text box.

I've used this method from time to time for occasions similar to yours.

You can also try grep. It's a great program and even allows you to do a multiple-file search and replace. It's actually a Unix based program, but I've used Wingrep before and it works quite well.

Thanks. I found the pages in question, but will check out the other suggestions just in case.

I make up a file card for every merchant. on it I put every link number and graphic size for reference. the only problem I have is that product link numbers are all the same for a merchant.

in the case of CJ, I can open all the pages in several sites in an html editor and search on those link numbers and then deal with them.

and when the merchant leaves, moves, or dumps me (or vice versa) I have something to file separately for reference.

search using windows for pages containing text your "CJPID" number you can find it in links:
    click-CJPID-MERCHANTNUMBER?URL=
    or in product forms:
    input type="hidden" name="pid" value="CJPID"

Telner or (preferably) SSH into your server, go into the directory your web server documents are in and grep for qksrv.net or whatever.

but the original question is about where "a certain CJ link is." I would assume he wants to find pages where he put a text or banner link, not every page with a CJ link.
