I have some question about DYSE,I download the newest version.

DySE::view v5.05.11: using latest version
1.How can I check my website enable mod_rewrite (.htaccess) function or not?
I test view.pl it's ok.
but how can I check .htaccess function enable or not.
when all done,my webside shows err:403
2.when I run make.pl. it shows:
# /dyse directory
!!! WARNING: /dyse: couldn't create directory: Permission denied
What does it mean?
3.My view.pl can only be set to chmod 700 but not 755.So what will happen?
but when testing view.pl it shows ok.

1. Ask your hosting company if mod_rewrite (.htaccess) is enabled for your website account (some hosting companies disable it). If it is enabled, then check that your .htaccess file is correct; see Configure .htaccess File Also, check the server's error_log file for any additional error details.
2. /dyse: couldn't create directory: Permission denied
make.pl could not create the directory /dyse (located in the root directory where your home page file would be located). DySE makes template graphics appear online at www.domain.com/dyse/merchant/img/*.gif. Run your FTP program (or use SSH) and manually create a dyse directory in the root directory.
3. view.pl chmod 700 shouldn't matter. If your server requires .pl files to be chmod 700, then use that setting. Your server is probably running a secure environment. 7 means that the owner of the script can read it, write to it, and run it. The 1st 0 means that other users in the same group as the owner cannot do anything to the file; the 2nd 0 means that everybody else cannot do anything to the file. The view.pl chmod does not specify what view.pl can do to other files/directories; it specifies what can be done to view.pl
