Could someone please tell me the difference between cloaking and using a URL alias?

I'm sure different people use the terms differently, but here's what they mean to me:
Cloaking - serving different content to people vs. search engine spiders (or different content for different people).
URL Alias - I'm not 100% sure on this one, but I think it's just talking about redirects. For instance, "http://www.google.com/adwords" redirects to (and is an alias for) "https://adwords.google.com/select/main?cmd=Login&sourceid=mktadv&subid=adwords&hl=en_US".
