    Interesting State Laws
Check your laws. In my state they have a clear definition of unpaid commissions and my legal rights, which includes that if the company is found negligent I can get up to one full day of pay for each day that the company delays making the payment - up to a total of 90 days. For commissions an average is determined, plus the company is responsible for all court costs and legal fees including my lawyers fees.

    Hello,

Not to burst your bubble, and I am not a lawyer or familar with New Jersey Law, but your sentence about one days pay sounds like it may be a protection for employees, not contracters. But it might be worth looking into.

    Regards,

I thought the same thing but apparently it applies to any commission pay agreement. I guess I may be finding out soon.
