    Check your payment distribution!
I just noticed that some payments were issued 5/25, so you guys might want to go in and check if you've been getting the "no data" results when you run your payment report. Up until about an hour ago I had no data showing up and almost fell off my chair when it brought up some results this time. Of course it's nowhere near what is owing to me in back commissions but at least it's a start. Good luck everyone

Yeah, mine has a check for about 17% percent of what is owed for March. That makes me grumpy...

I went through the figures on the check that was issued for me today and I can figure out each item on it... one company was more than my March commissions showed, but when I looked back at the old reports, I figured out that they had shorted my check from February, so they added that to the March payment and it matched right down to the exact cent for what they are paying me for that merchant in this check.

I am missing a couple payments for March though.

I did the same process today for my 5/17 check. It's very time consuming to figure it all out. Linkshare really needs to add some fields to the detail. We need to know what period it is for, what manual adjustments were made, etc.

Also, it would be handy if we could see a report of all unpaid earnings periods and perhaps another one showing merchant payments that have come in but that we haven't been paid for yet.

they supposedly "issued" check #3 which is for the same merchant as #1... having the same hassles....on the old reports we simply clicked on the amount and could see a list to reconcile with the sales and activity report.... now you have to guess what the total includes.... still haven't received check #2 dated 5/17... still haven't been "issued" a "consolidated" check....

Anyone else get an email this morning from the controller at LS?

    B [my name],

I just wanted to inform you that a check in the amount of $[yea-i-might-reveal-this!] will be mailed to you next week. The delay was caused by verification.

    Thanks,

    [his name]
    Controller

Also, did anyone else win $1399 this morning when they went to get their morning coffee (Staying at a casino in Laughlin)

I haven't received a check yet, and I have not yet figured out how to reconcile a check once it comes in. I've looked in SynergyAnalytics, and supposedly 2 checks have been cut. I can't tell what month they are for.

I am definitely looking for more details!

Is this the message that you "were" getting?

I got an email from the Janitor but you don't want to know what he said.

Yes that was the message I was getting. Now it shows a payment, for what it's worth!

They need to have the courage to end up that joke "SynergyAnalytics" and come back with the old reports.

I had a look at my payment distribution and I can't find the information I need.
What's that new word LinkSynergy. It was a domain name or their server for clicks. Is it a new legal entity? We had LinkShare, SynergyAnalytics. Is it the merging of LinkShare and SynergyAnalytics?
Why do we have to click on LinkSynergy to go back to LinkShare after wasting our time with SynergyAnalytics? These people are dumb.

I'm glad to see Billy getting his money and his little boy having fun again. But isn't it strange to see the controller sending an email with a check? For one Billy getting his money, 1000 affiliates are waiting to be verified and I doubt the controller will send them an email, his excuses and a check.
Messer is just doing damage control to avoid the most vocal affiliates to ruin his parade.

    Hello,

I agree that the old reports need to be brought back in full. The only thing in adequate about them before was the fact that they are often late and not real time. The new reports seem to do nothing to address those weaknesses.

    Regards,

The last word from Linkshare was that they would be adding the capability to change the Payto field in about 3-4 weeks. In the meantime, they recommend that you increase your payment threshold to avoid getting a check if an incorrect Payto will be a problem.

How do you change your payment threshold? Go to "Update Profile", click on each "Channel" on the left (not the Master Business Entity or the Contacts, just the channels/sites). You'll find the "Payment Threshold" near the bottom.
