Last week, I informed the Entertainment.com (Entertainment Books) affiliate manager that ShopAtHomeSelect was violating Entertainment.com's no parasite policy. My email was immediately acknowledged and just now I received a message from him that they have dropped ShopAtHomeSelect.
This is a company that has come full circle from knowing absolutely nothing about parasites to initiating a policy that they strongly enforce.
You might be humored to know that when they were originally informed late last year that Ebates was stealing commissions from other affiliates, they commented that their tests of affiliate links showed the proper affiliate was getting the commission. When it was brought to their attention that they had to download Moe Money Maker first, then they confirmed our findings. My point is that there are affiliate managers that don't even know these downloadable apps exist or how they work.
In my thank you email to them, I copied Scott Jangro of BeFree.
