    First quarter Income: $3.9 million
    First quarter Revenue: $28.9 million
    Buying price: $620 million

I'm writing to eBay, see how much they'll offer for my sites...

Based on quarterly revenue / price ratio here, my sites are worth $996,000.
I'll let them all go for $800k...

Donuts, did you just give away your 'First Quarter Income'?

    (and is it $6,264? ... that's a nice earning. )

How many of us who advertise on google hate shopping.com?

Maybe ebay hated them so much they decided they were worth buying.

What sucks the most about this aquisition is eBay is now a LARGE player in affiliate marketing! Most links on Shopping.com are affiliate links or at least a good chunk of them are.

With shopping.com offering cash back as well. They have the potential to become the next eBates and be able to in a discreet sort of way regulate a lot of things since they will be generating so much revenue. It's a sad day for all of us if you ask me.

Actually, Shopping.com works on a CPC basis. I don't think they have any affiliate links. Of course I could be wrong, but that's my understanding.

How do you explain their cash back solution? If they are only getting a flat PPC how do they afford to give cash back to the shoppers?
