    Question Webmerge and Yank's Book
I'm going to give Webmerge another try. I was also condsidering buying Yank's book on building Database Driven Web sites.

Would using both of these as a resource compliment or complicate each other in the learning process?

Webmerge creates static pages using html, and Yank's book teaches you to utilize datafeeds using php and MySql which create dynamic pages.
