Lightbulb Attorney General Eliot Spitzer FLAP
At a brief hearing Friday, lawyers on all sides were instructed to return to court Monday to argue whether Spitzer should be allowed to continue his probe while the unique contest over state and federal rights progressed through the courts.

    "Lobbyist," my eye!

According to what I read, the National Bank Act of 1864 gave jurisdiction to the feds. Spitzer wants to ignore it (what's new? Old laws only apply to others, according to him). And the Comptroller's Office, who is the one facing the turf invasion, isn't about to bend over for that.
