Cool Pop Ups w/ Coupon Offers for Signing Up
How much do you think an affiliate should earn if someone goes from their site to a merchant and a huge popup shows up offering $10 off if they sign up. Of course then, if they make a purchase, they will go to the email and link from the coupon they receive and the affiliate won't get the sale -- right? So is this a fair practice? If so - I want my share! What is a reasonable amount to ask for? (This is happening at a shareasale merchant I just joined.) How do I know if the popup contains a cookie that knocks mine out?
    Thanks -

The easiest way to tell is to make a purchase.

I guess that is about all I can do. I'll report my findings.

leeann, please share the merchant's name so the rest of us won't reward this type of practice.

I'd probably kick 'em to the curb unless they have unique products.
