    Question AE: No Product Images on Some Index Pages
    Is anyone aware of any changes in the Amazon feed that has changed the display of some of the sub-index pages? Several of my sites are suddenly using the Default store template (Books) for specific category index pages and the product images are not displaying on those pages.

    I first noticed this on Wednesday night (15-June) and it has happened to pages that I know were working properly before (i.e. the product images did display).

    I have noticed that the breadcrumb navigation has changed in some cases also.

    Whereas a page would have displayed before as:
    “Home / Outdoor Living / Grill Accessories”,

    it now displays as:
    “Home / Outdoor Living: Grill Accessories”

    Note the colon ( : ) as a separator where the slash was before and also, in this example, Outdoor Living was linked before. It is not linked now.

    And as I stated, the product images no longer display on some of the index pages. This has NOT affected every index page. The Main category pages still work.

    For example "/amazon/type_browse/mode_photo/" works, but "/amazon/type_browse/mode_172421/" (Home / Camera & Photo: Camcorders) does not display the images.


    Some other examples, if you are running AE, are the following categories:

    /amazon/type_browse/mode_13299251/

    /amazon/type_browse/mode_552738/

    /amazon/type_browse/mode_281052/

    /amazon/type_browse/mode_1077068/ (this one is even more odd because in the breadcrumb, which displays Home / Electronics: Car Electronics, the second part (Electronics: Car Electronics) is linked to the Electronics category page. This seems to be the case in all Electronics sub-categories. I have not seen this in any other category.

    This issue seems to be affecting every major category.

    Is this an AE thing? Or is this impacting only me? I have not been able to find any other discussion, here or on the Amazon Associates site, that mentions this.

    Amazon.com changed some of their website. Use ae.pl v5.06.18-beta. Some of the navbar components may still be unlinked; can't fix that.

    Thanks for the quick turnaround. This fixes a major issue now that the product images display. I am still concerned about the navbar. Is this something that you think will be fixed soon? Eventually? There's not much use for the navbar without the items in it being linked.

    Find it works with some categories, but not with others like electronics,....

    hmmm, seems to be working fine now. the browse number not working was
    http://evaluebuy.com/d/shops/evalue....de=electronics

    I had already deleted the cache files and tried several categories before I posted anything here. Product detail pages weren't coming up and links went directly to the appropriate page at amazon. All the categories that weren't working seem to be working now.
