Try looking up the prices for "personal injury lawyer" and the like, and you'll feel something a lot wetter!

I remember the days of a penny per click on Overture when they first debuted....

    Boy, that was cheap traffic.

Its getting tough for the little guy and affiliate. Big compainies will overspend just for the 'branding' effect. But its likely still a tiny % of their overall adv. budget.
Plus there's always newbies who overbid cause they dont know what they're doing yet.

You can bet Overture feed those high priced keywords to 180Solutions -WhenU -Gator and other rogue search tool bars and popups. Call it the revenge of the Adwhores seeking to whack the Lawyers and Pharm industry for the "Sleezebag of the Year Award". Yahoo is trying to cut their lawyer fees while popping pills.

Arrghhhh!!! I'm being subjected to AbestWebbian English Torture!

"Blood letting Leeches" is the CORRECT spelling! "Leaches" is the wrong one!

leach = to remove by the action of a percolating liquid (dictionary.com). Pollution leaches (Verb) from the soil into the groundwater.

leech = a parasite. Leeches (Noun) suck blood.
