How can you tell what ads were clicked?
There is an ad somewhere on my site that is giving a lot of money per click. How can I tell what it is? I want to try to get more traffic to that ad. Do I have to figure it out by creatinbg a channel for each page and then determing what page the click is happening on?

On the 'mannage channels' page, there is a way to track a single ad unit. Not a specific ad, but one 'block' of ads. It's on the bottom half of the page. I think it generates new HTML for that ad unit so you'll have to cut and paste it back into your site.

It is a good idea to use the manage channels just so you can see what works and what doesn't work. Odds are what you think works actually doesnt.

I have quite a few set up just as a test and I couldn't have been more wrong myself as to what works. Use the manage channels as a big trial and error you will be surprised with the results.

Can anyone suggest a javascript click tracker script?

I've looked at asRep, and it's nice but does way more than I want/need and I also don't like to use mySQL for anything.

I found a few free ones but they don't work with Firefox or other Gecko-based browsers. I just need the javascript part, I'm going to hook it up to my own reporting backend rather than have yet another tool with yet another reporting interface to log into. :-)

I guess if worse comes to worse I can buy asRep and write my own server-side recorder to replace the one that comes with it.
