Thumbs down Zappos returned merchandise report sucks!
Just another appalling monthly report from Zappos! Minus $350 (out of total $500 I have made in June) for returned merchandise.. That's sheer robbery! why should I be responsible for all returned merchandise? That's not fair at all!

I've sent them 881 clicks for not a single sale.

For June, about 20% return rate here. Sometimes its a lot higher than that but lately returns haven't been to bad

That's not unusual anymore. I doubt that Zappos is the problem though. They keep touting their "a million-dollars in sales today" bit, so there must be a sock missing from the washload somewhere.

Try Shoedini. CJ won't even track the clicks. You won't have to worry about reversals then.

36% of number of June transactions were reversed here which equals 48% of total commission earned in June.

my Zappos EPC for June after reversals is $12.10

    no reversal here from zappos.
yes, believe it. none zip nada.

    no sales either since midday.

i think where my zappos reversals got stuck is where my sales also got stuck.

I had about 26% returns. I've been working with Zappos for a year and based on experience I plan for about 30% returns. When you have free shipping and free returns it results in a lot of returns.

After factoring in returns my Zappos conversion rate is 1.7% and my EPC is $23.52.

Zappos returns have been huge for me. I can contribute part of that to their Free Shipping and Free Return Shipping policy. As a shopper, I would be much more likely to place a huge order so that I can try things out if there are no shipping charges. I may even order multiple sizes of the same item so that I get the fit right.

That said, though, I do think that some of the return percentages are too high (including mine).

inetsol, get used to it. Zappos is a GREAT converter but there is the reversal thing we all deal with. If you shop online look at your own buying habits. I know that I return a ton of stuff I buy - especially shoes.
