    Synergy Analytics??
I admit I have been sleeping for some time....

but I can not seem to get to ANY Linkshare reports at all! And what is this new Synergy Analytics?

    I used to go here:
    https://ssl.linksynergy.com/php-bin/...2Freport.shtml

to login and then entered my affiliate ID, password, whatever and could see my sales activity etc.

Now I see a page of gobble. Am I supposed to be going somewhere else for my activity reports?

Again, I admit to having been asleep at the wheel here for while... but am wide awake now and MAD that I can not see my reports.

    Please help!!

    Gee, Tom,

While you were sleeping the rest of us all snuck off to school and got our MBA's so we could learn managementspeak and how to crunch numbers. And LS was so proud of us that they installed a super numbercruncher in our honor. We're quietly ignoring the fact that now we have no idea which merchant is paid up or what we are owed.

Did you get a check? Too bad if you wanted to know from whence it came. But you did get a check? or two? Actually, that is about the only good thing that has come out of this so far.

Not only have I not received ANY checks, in what seems like about 3 months, I can not even log in to any affiliate portions of Linkshare.

In fact when I login to linkshare.com, there used to be a login area in the upper right of the screen. That too is gone.

PLEASE help... I must be going to the wrong URL??? or just plain going NUTZ!!

Tom, when you go to Linkshare.com what are you seeing? I see a "client login" button. Try that and you should get the login with the image challenge.

You really need to sift through some of the older posts. I don't think anyone is going to readdress these issues here, as we've all been quite pi$$ed about the goings on at LS lately, and made numerous threads discussing this. But I will tell you, no you aren't crazy - they took our old, trusty reports away in the name of 'progress'. Of course the term 'progress' is completely relative here...

I do see the "Image Challenge" if that is what you call the "type the characters you see in the picture"

But then once I have filled it in I get a page that makes no sense at all. t looks like this:

    http://www.womentravellers.com/images/linkshare.jpg

    Any help much appreciated.

Wow, that's MUCH worse than the "We can't verify you, you may or may not really exist" page that I get whenever I log in.

This might sound simplistic, and I apologize if this doesn't address your questions.

I log in to Linkshare (as an affiliate) at

    https://ssl.linksynergy.com/php-bin/...ason=icf_login

Once I am logged in, I can see the small "Synergy Analytics Beta" button in the lefthand corner, just underneath the "home" tab.

    I hope this helps.

That's comforting... to know that I am "MUCH worse"

What the hell is going on with these LS folks!!

When I go to the link you referenced, I see this:

    http://www.womentravellers.com/images/linkshare2.jpg

No sign of any "Synergy Analytics Beta" button anywhere... just what I have shown... the rest of the screen is just white space.

When I complete those boxes I then see the othe link I sent.. namely:

That sounds really bizarre. Is there adware running on your computer?

We all had to go through a verification process while you were napping. I bet LS dropped you as they did some others. You'd better give them a call to get this sorted out.

Oh, and good luck. You are going to need it.

No, I did wake up long enough to go thru the validation... I completed all their online forms and thought I was doing correctly.

I will give them a call...

No, I do not have any (known) Adware running,.. I run Spybot and LavaSoft quite regularly.

Thanks for all your help so far folks, I will update you once I hear (??) anything from LS once I call them.

Well, I finally got to the bottom of this problem... and as I suspected LS would say... it was "my problem". Seems I was too well protected by Norton Internet Security.

LS sent me a document which details what the security settings must be in order to access not only their site... but the Synergy Analgesic reports.

Here is a copy, for anyone else who is having access problems, of what they sent me:

If you are having problems using, viewing, or logging on to LinkShare, please try the following:

    ***SECURITY SETTINGS***

If you use Norton Internet Security 3.0 and you have the Privacy

Level set to High, then you will be unable to login to Linkshare. Setting the Privacy Level to Medium will

allow you to login without any problems.

    ***AD BLOCKING***

You will also need to disable the ad-blocking feature in order to be able to click through to Merchant sites.

To disable Ad Blocking in Norton Internet Security:

Select Start-> Programs-> Norton Internet Security-> Norton Internet Security

    Click on "Ad Blocking"

    Click on "Turn Off"

    ***COOKIESS***

If you are using IE 6.0, please allow all cookies from linksynergy.com and linkshare.com in order for you to access your "Update Profile." Just go to:

    TOOLS>INTERNET OPTIONS>PRIVACY>WEBSITES EDIT .

That will force your browser to accept all cookies from linksynergy.com. For more information, please visit Microsoft on how to enable cookies

    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/using/howto/default.asp

    ***XP SERVICE PACK 2:***

    TOOLS>INTERNET OPTIONS>PRIVACY>POP-UP BLOCKER>SETTINGS

please allow all cookies from linksynergy.com and linkshare.com by typing them into the Address of Websites to allow, then clicking Add.
